Our Educational Model requires us to adopt an innovative approach to our work, giving importance not only to the syllabus or the content itself, but also and above all to procedures and methods, in other words, how the subjects are taught, as these are the ways to develop the pupils’ skills and competencies.

Continuous improvement is an unwavering maxim in our work, which is why all the members of the teaching staff are part of a Learning Community with the remit to investigate, design and apply the new methodologies to be used in the classroom. These methodology teams are currently working on certain specific topics. Such topics may vary over time, whereby once they have been studied and implemented in the classroom, these Communities become redundant, and so new methodologies are identified, with the corresponding Learning Communities set up to address them:

UDIN- Multidisciplinary teaching units Multidisciplinary projects lasting 1-2 weeks in which the boundaries between specific subjects are blurred to enable the pupils to reflect upon and provide ideas on a topical issue, applying what they have learnt in different fields.
PBL- Problem-Based Learning The pupils are presented with situations or problems that need to be solved through the application of their knowledge and by following the stages of problem-solving.
LKT- Peer Learning Learning based on pupil cooperation that entails developing teamwork skills.
MKT- Assessment, endorsement and feedback Continuous assessment and feedback as a source of self-learning.
English Team Improvement and development of strategies and methods for learning English.
Coexistence The importance of coexisting alongside other people, and the appropriate management of spaces for personal development.
Science Teaching in English of the syllabus in the subject of Science in Primary Education, with the aim being to encourage the use of this language.
Psychomotor skills Adaptation of the sessions in psychomotor skills in Early Childhood Education, as a major component of the children’s development at that stage.
